Fast, accurate and non-contact measurement in a second

The iHealth ThermoPro uses an advanced infrared sensor to measure body temperature from the forehead completely non-contact, at a distance of 1 to 3 centimeters. The measurement is extremely fast – the result is displayed within one second, without the need to wait or touch. Its very fast and hygienic operation contributes to patient comfort, but also significantly reduces the risk of disease transmission. The accuracy of the measurement is guaranteed to ±0.2 °C in the range 34-43 °C, which corresponds to clinical standards. The thermometer is also equipped with a distance sensor that alerts if the device is not positioned correctly. This minimises the risk of erroneous measurements and contributes to consistency. In practice, you will appreciate the speed and reliability, for example, when taking children's temperature in the morning or when checking patients in care facilities, where a high standard of hygiene is particularly important.

Multiple modes for flexible use at any time of day or night

With four smart modes, iHealth ThermoPro adapts to different situations and environments. In addition to the standard mode of reading human temperature from the patient's forehead, object temperature measurement is also available. This is ideal for checking the temperature of a baby bottle, bath water or baby food, for example. Two special night modes – for both human and object temperature measurements – deactivate audible alerts and allow discreet measurements without disturbing the sleeping patient. The LED display is backlit, and in addition to the numerical temperature display, you'd also find a smiling/ frowning smiley face icon that lights up depending on whether the measured temperature is below or above 38°C. This visual indicator is a handy addition to the numerical value and audible fever alarm, making it easy to immediately recognise the temperature status without the need for a detailed reading.

Bluetooth connectivity and professional use with open SDK

A major added value of ThermoPro is its ability to communicate wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.0. Although the regular iHealth MyVitals mobile app does not support this model, the manufacturer provides an open SDK (Software Development Kit) for developing custom solutions. This opens up the possibilities for use in professional systems – for example, in hospitals, nursing homes, or advanced home care where temperature data needs to be stored and managed for multiple people.
