How to get Shoulderpod ready to shoot?

The Smart-Clamp mechanism works thanks to a single button. The quick-release mechanism immediately and securely attaches or releases the phone from the grip. Slide the Smart-Clamp button downwards to open the lower jaw and mount your device in the grip.

You can insert the phone into the G2 on the go. Then you just secure the phone with a brake, which you activate by pushing the same Smart-Clamp button up.

Fits all modern smartphones

The versatility of using the G2 grip lies in the fact that it fits virtually any modern smartphone, even with a case. Adjustable and rubber-padded jaws hold mobile devices between 64 to 90 mm wide.

This includes all current models of Phone, Samsung Galaxy, Huawei, Xiaomi, Pixel, Sony Xperia or HTC and many more. It is not suitable for small older devices such as the iPhone 4, 5, or for foldable phones and small tablets such as the iPad mini.

Ergonomic tiltable design that makes switching from horizontal to vertical video easy

Journalists and marketers use a variety of video formats. That's why the G2 is designed to make the switch between landscape and portrait mode easy. To change the format, just hold the grip with one hand and tilt it 90°. In both cases, your thumbs will always be free to tap the screen controls.

Mounting points for everything you need

You will never run out of adapters again. The G2 contains 6 cold shoes to hold microphones, lights, batteries or any other accessories that will improve the shooting from the camera of your smartphone. 2 standard 1/4 ”- 20 metal inserts allow the adapter to be mounted horizontally or vertically on a tripod. These threads can also be used to add external accessories such as brackets or articulated arms.

Made from durable and reliable materials

Professionals demand durable and reliable products. That’s why the structure of the G2 was made using a high-performance fibreglass reinforced composite. The heat embedded tripod mounts are made of machined brass. The handle and smartphone clamps are composed of a highly resistant rubberised material for protecting your mobile device, offering a comfortable grip.

Label it

In the interests of recovering equipment with ease, the rear side of the grip has a lowered area in which you can place a label. The 26 x 18 mm area can hold inventory information or your name and address.

Cameras, rigs and other devices are usually equipped with handles with metal knobs and rings. The slightest movement can cause these rings to rattle, thus ruining your audio recording. The G2 includes an integrated loop for attaching straps (strap not included), which does not emit a single interfering sound.
