The tedee app is available for free for iOS smartphones (iPhone, iPod Touch) and Android (from version 6.0). It sends notifications, alerts, and recommendations based on your settings.

No apps, accounts, or logins are required. Just send guests an access link that is only valid during their stay. They unlock with a simple swipe.

2. Unlocking with PIN code

Guests use temporary PIN codes for entry, which are generated for each reservation. This method requires the purchase of a tedee keypad, but will completely free your guests from having to use the tedee app, they won't need a smartphone to unlock the door at all.

Ideal for small businesses involved in short-term property rentals. Access is provided through the app or web portal. The system is quick to adapt and easy to use.

Replacement batteries of this type can be purchased at any electronics store. After replacing them, you do not need to set anything up again. Installation in three easy steps

Thanks to the collaboration with GERDA, the smart lock is designed to fit all standard European doors and cylinders. The only requirement is that the cylinder has an emergency function, which allows two keys inserted from both sides to be turned. The installation is no different from the installation of the previous tedee GO model. Simply insert the key into the cylinder, fit the smart lock that will turn it, and attach the three screws using an Allen key. Do you also need tedee bridge?

Tedee bridge is a separately sold central station that bridges control of all your smart locks via Bluetooth and WiFi. The fact that it is not integrated into the lock brings several benefits to users. Firstly, the tedee bridge has its own power source as it plugs into an electrical socket. This means it does not reduce the battery life of the lock itself. Competing lock models that work with the integrated bridge often have a battery life of only 3 months. This frequent battery change reduces the user experience crucially; smart locks that should make everyday life easier simply turn into an extra worry. The separation of the bridge from the lock also allows the lock to maintain its compact dimensions and overall elegant design. This gives the smart access system an unobtrusive appearance.
