The tedee app is available for free for iOS smartphones (iPhone, iPod Touch) and Android (from version 6.0). It sends notifications, alerts, and recommendations based on your settings.

If you prefer to control your lock on the Apple platform, you can use the Shortcuts app to create commands for Siri and then use your iPhone or Apple Watch to enter them. The lock is now not compatible with Apple HomeKit. But it is ready and backward compatible with the Matter platform, which will allow it to be added to not only Apple HomeKit in the future but also a long line of other communication interfaces such as Samsung Smartthings or Tuya. Tedee GO currently supports over 15 smart home systems including Google Home, Amazon Alexa, FIBARO, Grenton, Jeedom, Homey, etc. You will need tedee bridge to connect them to the lock.

For an even better hosting experience, we recommend pairing the lock with tedee bridge. This allows you to connect to Wi-Fi, unlock the door via access links, and also control it via the tedee web portal. Without it, however, you can still share and control access via the app. There is one functionality in the portal directly tailored to the needs of professional hosts, namely the integration of locks with channel management platforms such as Smoobu or Guesty. These channels sync all the bookings published on short-term rental platforms – typically Booking, AirBnB, Agoda, Expedia, etc. - and turn the web portal into your virtual reception. It will make it easier for you to control all your properties and effective access management by, for example, automating the assignment of limited-validity PINs to individual guests.

1. Unlocking with an access link without the mobile app

No apps, accounts, or logins are required. Just send guests an access link that is only valid during their stay. They unlock with a simple swipe.

2. Unlocking with PIN code

Guests use temporary PIN codes for entry, which are generated for each reservation. This method requires the purchase of a tedee keypad, but will completely free your guests from having to use the tedee app, they won't need a smartphone to unlock the door at all.

3. Unlocking with the tedee app

Ideal for small businesses involved in short-term property rentals. Access is provided through the app or web portal. The system is quick to adapt and easy to use.

It is coated with a silver or graphite metallic finish, which adds a stylish touch to its design. Tedee GO uses replaceable batteries (CR123A) for power, which last up to 9 months. This is the longest-lasting of all battery-powered locks on the market. So you don't need any power cords to operate, you don't even need to remove the lock from the door to bring it to a power source to recharge the built-in battery. Replacement batteries of this type can be purchased at any electronics store. After replacing them, you do not need to set anything up again. Tedee Go remembers everything and downloads the necessary data from the app itself.

Installation in three easy steps

Tedee works closely with Gerda, the leader in security cylinders. The lock is therefore designed to fit all standard European doors and cylinders. The only requirement is that the cylinder has an 'emergency function', which allows two keys inserted from either side to be turned. Are you not the technical type and worried about difficult installation? Although tedee GO is an innovative locksmith solution, its installation and subsequent use are easy and intuitive. Simply insert the key into the cylinder, fit the smart lock, and use the Allen key to attach the three screws. The installation itself takes no more than 1 minute and can be done by anyone.
