EXXO SMART combines traditional security with smart-lock functionality. On the outside, the door can be unlocked using a conventional key, while on the inside, a dedicated shaft allows quick and secure mounting of a tedee smart lock. The installation is straightforward, reliable, and designed for long-term daily use – exactly what you expect from a modern smart-lock setup.

The cylinder delivers top-tier protection and durability. It has been endurance-tested for 100,000 lock/unlock cycles. The EN 1303:2015 certification confirms the highest security rating of Class 6.D, and integrated protections include anti-snap, anti-bump, anti-drill, and anti-pick. A two-row pin system with snake-groove profiling provides more than 200,000 unique key combinations. The package includes five reversible keys, with additional keys easily obtainable through authorized partners or locksmiths using the included key code card.

Universal cylinder due to its modular design

The EXXO SMART modular cylinder offers the widest length-adjustment range on the market. Its modular construction enables precise sizing on both the exterior and interior sides of the door, making it suitable for most standard Euro-profile locks. In its default configuration, the cylinder measures 37 mm on the key side (exterior) and 41 mm on the smart-lock side (interior). Four spacer modules are included: 6 mm, 10 mm, and two 15 mm spacers. These allow you to fine-tune both sides of the cylinder anywhere between 31 mm and 62 mm, so the cylinder can be perfectly adapted to the thickness of your door without the need for other cylinder variants.

Blending traditional and modern access

The EXXO SMART cylinder combines the advantages of both classic and smart locking. On the outside (exterior), the door can be unlocked with a standard key, while on the inside (interior), a dedicated shaft enables quick and secure mounting of a tedee smart lock. Tedee PRO can be installed directly onto the cylinder. In contrast, tedee GO and GO2 require the included Bar adapter, which ensures smooth integration with the double-slotted spindle used by these smart locks.

Top level security and durability

EXXO SMART meets the highest security standard EN 1303:2015 Class 6.D and features comprehensive protections: anti-snap, anti-bump, anti-drill, and anti-pick. Here’s what each of these built-in protective mechanisms means:

Anti-snap – prevents the cylinder from breaking during forced physical attacks aimed at snapping it.

Anti-bump – resists bumping, a technique using a special bump key and light taps to make the pins jump and unlock the cylinder.

Anti-drill – protects the pins and the core from drilling attempts, preventing an intruder from breaking through the cylinder with a drill.

Anti-pick – a complex internal construction prevents manipulation of the pins (lock picking), making it extremely difficult to unlock the cylinder without the correct key.

The double-row pin system with snake-groove provides over 200,000 real key combinations. The cylinder has been tested for 100,000 lock/unlock cycles, ensuring long-term reliability and durability.

Reversible Keys and Flexible Access

The package includes 5 reversible keys, allowing convenient unlocking regardless of the cylinder’s orientation, and they can be shared with family members or guests. Additional keys can be easily purchased through GERDA or authorized locksmiths using the included key code card, ensuring flexibility and security for multiple users.
