Replace the remote control, fobs, access cards, or keys with a mobile phone. You can unlock the entrance, gate, parking barrier, or garage door with the app and the Tedee relay module. And do it from anywhere!
The tedee relay module is an optional accessory for your existing relay controller. It is designed to secure your electronic lock, which is unlocked by an electrical signal instead of a key. Connect your relay controller to the internet using your local Wi-Fi network or mobile data router. This ensures a universal wireless connection is created between the relay device and your smartphone. You can use a dedicated relay module no matter where you are.
By connecting to the tedee app, the relay module will allow you to enjoy the features that are available to owners of tedee smart locks Share virtual keys to the relay module with family, employees, or maintenance staff without compromising security. Manage the permissions granted and set or limit them as needed by selecting the dates and times when access to the smart relay module should be active. This matchbox-sized unit can be wired into any compatible dry contact setup. Operating based on controller device outputs, Tedee Dry Contact facilitates the locking and unlocking of Tedee GO or Tedee PRO via Bluetooth—without requiring a Tedee Bridge, internet connection, or API/SDK integration. Each device controls only one Tedee smart lock and replaces the typical Tedee cloud security system and digital authentication with an alternative, wired access method.
Tedee Dry Contact is intended for professional installation to ensure safety and compliance with electrical safety and compliance standards. Ensure the device is permanently installed, wired to the controller, and powered within the smart lock’s Bluetooth range. Test the target location by unlocking a smart lock with the Tedee smartphone app via Bluetooth at the intended place.
