The iHealth Start automatic upper arm pressure monitor is an irreplaceable aid in blood pressure monitoring. You can fully rely on the home measurement results on the Start tonometer because the device is approved as a medical device and has undergone clinical testing.

The pressure monitor measures actual values of systole, diastole and pulmonary artery pulse. An alert in case of an irregular heartbeat and the blood pressure rating scale recommended by WHO will help you take better care of your health.

The pressure monitor is available for purchase at selected business partners.

Simply place the iHealth Start on your upper arm and observe the automatic measurement on a clearly readable display. The values of systolic and diastolic pressure and heart beats per minute are displayed immediately after measurement and are automatically stored in the instrument memory.

Up to 4 users can monitor and measure their blood pressure on one device. Each user profile has a memory for 30 measurements with a date. A comparison with the World Health Organization scale will help you get an indicative assessment. Consult your doctor with the results.

The values obtained with the automatic pressure monitor Start are comparable to those obtained with a mechanical tonometer and a stethoscope used by a trained professional. The pressure monitor also displays the average value of the last 7 days of measurements taken in the morning and evening (recommended time for measurements).

Remove tight clothing and accessories from your hand and sit down with your feet at a floor level (do not cross your feet). Rest your forearms on the table - the centre of the cuff should be at your heart level. Do not speak and remain calm during measurement.

Blood pressure naturally fluctuates throughout the day. The highest values usually occur in the daytime and the lowest around midnight. Consult your doctor with the results at regular intervals.
