You can use the electrodes repeatedly, approximately 20–30 times. Their lifetime can be supported by applying them to dry and clean skin and storing them appropriately. Store preferably in the original resealable container to prevent the conductive gel from drying out. The electrodes and gel are made of high-quality non-allergenic materials and are adapted to improve conductivity and current dissipation during electrotherapy. The Pinktens app will recommend the exact placement for the most effective effect. These electrodes are equipped with a magnetic attachment system, for this reason, they are compatible with both the Pinktens and Bluetens Classic 2 electrostimulator models.

Tips for the correct use of electrodes

Because of the polarity, you may feel that some of the electrodes are not working – no worries, the electrodes work correctly and independently. If you wish, you can turn the electrostimulator off and slightly adjust their position so that they are correctly positioned on the nerve endings. The electrodes must not overlap on the skin. At the same time, make sure that the cable is properly connected to the Pinktens stimulator. If the electrodes dry out, you can gently rub 1 or 2 drops of water into the gel section with your fingers. It is advisable to replace the electrodes if their adhesion deteriorates or if you feel tingling after starting the program.

Make sure the skin is clean and dry before placing the electrodes.

Touch the adhesive part of the electrodes as little as possible.

When the electrotherapy session is finished, place the electrodes back on the transparent foil.

Place the electrodes in the case provided with the Pinktens device or in their plastic bag to protect them.

Keep away from heat sources.

Store them in a dry place at 5–25 °C temperature.

Possible contraindications

Pinktens is not suitable for use, or medical consultation is recommended, if you:

are pregnant

have a pacemaker

have type 2 diabetes with sensory disorders

suffer from recurrent, unexplained pain

have metal implants (except dental implants or an intrauterine device)

are less than 6–8 weeks postpartum and have not been cleared to begin rehabilitation

have recently undergone pelvic floor surgery (surgeon’s approval required)
